Surgical removal and reconstruction of extra digits — restoring a natural hand appearance and optimal function.
Polydactyly is the presence of extra fingers, one of the most common congenital hand anomalies. It can affect the thumb side, small finger side, or central fingers.
Surgery is individualized based on which digit is duplicated and its complexity. The goal is to remove the extra digit while preserving all important structures. Typically performed between 9 and 18 months.
